Schafer von Stuttgart is a gorgeous 10 month old long haired German Shepherd. He is still getting his adult coat, so it is hard to tell whether his coat will get even longer. Remember the long haired shepherds need more grooming but they shed less.  He has the straighter back which most people prefer. Schafer is out going and full of puppy energy. We tried to do a cat test with him, but he had just arrived, we couldn’t even tell whether he saw the cat or not. He is in a kennel with other dogs. We can just guess at why Schafer was given up! We can just imagine the cute little fuzz ball at 8 weeks, but then the fuzz ball kept growing and growing! Schafer is already a big boy and has more growing to do even still! He looks as if he had good care, he is just stunning. He needs someone who will enjoy activities with him and will enjoy training him. He will be just spectacular! His adoption fee is $500.
